The good and the bad

Our entire house is wood laminate and we use low floor mats, low mats in the hallways, under the coffee table and in the center of the living room. We bought this because we have a large dog and two cats who leave fluffy bunnies everywhere. With pet cats, we get the added bonus of cat litter getting caught in the cat's claws. The bad: I quickly found that he doesn't like our low-lying floor mats or rugs - he gets stuck on all but one. out of them. And surprisingly, the one he's standing on isn't the skinniest. So we need to put most of our rugs and all the mats on the tables and sofa before we can get it to work. He also got stuck trying to climb over the cords of a lamp and once got tangled in a fringe from a plaid. Once he got stuck under the bakery counter. Now, before we use it, we fold up all the mats and rugs, raise all the cords and cords, and put shoes and cans around our baker's rack to run it once a week. It's too busy every night. Good: Once we've lifted everything off the floor and locked the baker's shelf, it does a SATISFACTORY GOOD job of removing hair, dirt, and even kitty litter. It fits under the sofa and our bookshelf without snagging and we are always amazed at how much it gets because we sweep a lot and it doesn't LOOK dirty before we run it. I would run it every night if we didn't have mats and rugs to contend with.
