I have 2 pairs of gloves with Alpinestars S8 gloves. My guess is that most Alpinestars gloves are touchscreen compatible. Even if you have a protective glass unlike other brands. The fit is good and the quality is what you would expect from a well known brand. But how do you really know the quality of an item if you've never tested it? Can you say with certainty that it will hold up and get the job done when it needs to? As for me, I learned this the hard way but it reinforced my mate's words and I believe you get what you pay for and when it comes to safety it's something you don't want to skimp on . . At about 80 km/h (most likely faster) I fell and had almost no control over where my hands were because my hand was trapped between the steering wheel and the road (the raised part, like a sidewalk). So I slipped for a while and was lucky the gloves held up as intended, both on the knuckles and palm. I had absolutely no damage to my hands and judging by the damage to my knuckles it would have been a bad day if I hadn't been wearing gloves or if I had had a few cheap pairs that didn't offer good protection. I would definitely recommend any Alpinestars product but I definitely stand behind these.
