This is my second fitness tracker. I used my son's Wyze bracelet for a week to see how these devices are. I found the Wyze to be more comfortable and pretty amazing for what it does. I was immediately disappointed that the Mi Band isn't as comfortable as the Wyze. That is, until I started wearing it on my wrist (or, it seems, "upside down"). For me it works great and eliminates all nasty issues. I didn't notice Wyze at night even though I set my heart rate to every 5 minutes. One problem I still have is that the Mi Band's heart rate function seems to bother me at night even though I've set it to every 10 minutes. As a result, I had to disable deep sleep tracking. It may just be in my head, but I can feel my wrist getting warmer with it. I might try again, but the sleep tracking works without the depth feature enabled and I find it very accurate. I woke up for 30 minutes and fell asleep again around 5:30 am and it tracked it perfectly. I also have this for tracking workouts, specifically outdoor cycling, running, swimming, roller skating, and indoor elliptical training. and step machines. Whilst our local pool is still very limited due to Covid so I don't swim I've found cycling and indoor activities to be tracked effectively - I also use 'elliptical' for the stepper then I just manually change the heading in Strava where I follow events. It's the Zepp app integration which is MUCH better than the awful Mi Fit app. Do yourself a favor and try Zepp instead of Mi Fit, you will be much happier with your bracelet. I wish it had MapMyRide integration instead of Strava, but it's also a highly rated app so I'm having to get used to it. I had no problems with GPS via my phone - and I wouldn't have left the house without my phone anyway. Guess I have to choose cycling when inline skating to track - it's a bit flimsy but better than nothing. Wyze didn't recognize. You can't expect these devices to be perfect. I tried the Fitbit app and didn't find it that great, and the much-admired Fitbit Charge 4 drains your battery in a matter of hours using the much-vaunted built-in GPS feature, which you probably don't use. still not necessary. It takes your temperature, which is a cool feature but I'm willing to live without it. Sp02 is the Chinese version or Mi Band 6. And I think it's not exactly a monitor, just a manual review - which isn't that useful. I bought my daughter with special needs a morePro Health bracelet which will arrive this week. It has Sp02 monitoring as well as sleep apnea monitoring and hypoxia wake-up alarm. Well, THIS is useful stuff. I think even if it doesn't work perfectly (I suspect mild sleep apnea, but she doesn't even need an actual medical device for that) it will give me an idea of her trends and if there might be a problem there. Those cheap straps/watches have some accuracy issues - even the Fitbit is three times the price. But Xiaomi has a pretty good reputation on the internet and these devices can be very useful compared to what this device usually pursues. So if you notice you're not feeling very well and you check your records and find that everything looks different than usual, you know you may have a problem that needs to be reported to your doctor. No one should use any of these in place of common sense. and a real medical device. But reading reviews shows that for any fitness group, you can find a hundred people saying the device is terrible and tracking is completely disabled. If that's your case, send it back (if you bought it through Prime from Revain, it's as easy as throwing it away at the UPS store). Then try again with a different bracelet. Update: GPS data wasn't received correctly when using Zepp - looks like you'll have to use Mi Fit or one of the other Mi Fit compatible apps for that. Also, integration with Strava was pretty dodgy, and Google Fit received too many log entries listing walking around the house as a walk. It also disables sleep tracking in Zepp. While I prefer the Zepp interface, the Mi Fit is at least better at tracking things, so I'll stick with it for now.
