This pump is really a keeper, but only after I found out that it is not defective. If you order this make sure you get the correct type of dispenser i.e. H. Lotion or foam. I couldn't get my lotion dispenser to work with liquid soap and was so disappointed; I had to dump and clean all the soap to send it back. :(I went back online and noticed that the pump looks different so I compared the lotion pump and the foam pump and voila! They sent me a foam dispenser instead of a lotion dispenser. Double checked the box that definitely says "dispenser " stand for lotion". Double checked my order, definitely ordered a lotion dispenser. Wrong product in the right box! Put diluted liquid soap in the dispenser and great lather came out! So before you think your pump isn't working, make sure you ordered the right item (I ordered) then make sure you got the right item (I didn't have) New correct dispenser in two days until I tried the foam pump - I liked it also, so i can keep them! and they are easier to use on my arthritic hands so the tip of the dispenser sticks out a bit to the side is it a bit close to the soap container - not a big problem for me, but someone with big hands might have problems with it but problems. The foam dispenser doesn't have this problem, but it's kind of clumsy with the lotion.
