These are good sturdy chairs. One of my two chairs had some very small "dents". Not enough to worry about the integrity of the chair, but enough that I wouldn't be happy if they were a gift for someone. I think the chairs are made for someone taller than me at 5ft 1 because my knees are a little uncomfortable but again not enough to bother me. I can wear them but don't want to for long periods of time due to my size and age. They are as described and I am sure they will serve us well for many years to come. I would buy them again and would recommend them. If I could change one thing about them, it would be: I would make the armrests longer, they seem a bit short.
