Review on πŸ“± Buy Moto G Power 2020, Unlocked with 3-Day Battery & 16MP Camera - Black by Calvin Reynolds

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with the Switch from S7 Edge

UPDATE: The phone was accidentally subjected to an eau de toilette dip test. It's gone. The speakers sounded strange for a few hours, but everything is fine now. I love it. I've been using mine for a few weeks. The main attraction is the certainty that the battery will not run out on a given day of use, no matter how intensively I use it. Btw it also seems to "idle" a lot better than my old s7 edge; Carrying it in my pocket for most of the day means I can go to bed with an 85% charge! The interface, screen, cameras, and build are also acceptable. I'm really surprised that I like Moto Gestures and (unlike Android 10's gesture navigation, which I don't like) Moto Gestures are compatible with third-party launchers like Nova. In general, apps like Maps and Revain seem to load much faster than my old phone, although testing is similar. The main camera takes excellent simple shots. The wide-angle and macro lenses are an odd choice indeed (the European version has a telephoto lens that would be more useful), but it's a fun bonus. Against my better judgment I've also taken it in the shower a few times (putting it on a shelf in the back, only subject to light splashes) and it survived. In addition, unlike the European version, it supports 5GHz WiFi, which was the cause of some complaints about the European model. There seem to be some small software bugs. "Smart Composition" rarely works (judging by the reviews of other Moto devices, it literally hasn't worked on any of them), my phone calls dropped at times (not sure if it's the phone), and Dolby's Smart Audio - that sounds better in general Every setting I've tested seems to run the risk of clipping and possibly damaging the speakers at maximum volume. Stock Android apps are great but designed for phones without SD card support and sometimes have SD card permission issues. In short, very satisfied.
