I bought the 10m version of this cable to use with a USB to OBDII adapter and it doesn't have it for that purpose is working. The software on the PC kept saying it couldn't see the adapter when it was connected through that cable. When the adapter was connected directly to the PC, it worked perfectly. I've also tried using this cable with a couple of other devices I have on hand: a circa 2010 4GB Transcend USB stick is fine. I was able to see the drive and copy over 1GB of files back and forth. Kingston card reader (SD, CF etc.) from approx. 2011 - OK. I was able to see the reader and copy 1GB of files back and forth to the SD card. Logitech webcam from c. 2010 - OK. The video worked in 320x240 mode; I haven't tried setting the camera to a maximum resolution of 640x480. Additional Information: The cable identifies itself as USB Vendor 1a40 and Product 0101, which should read "Terminus Technology Inc.". Center. There is no serial number given. It is reported to be a 4-port hub when in fact there is only one port on the cable.
