I really like the concept of this tray, I thought it would be easier for my paraplegic husband to clean it up. However, I have found that you need to use a filler that will come off or not stick. We clean ours about 3 times a day because we have 3 cats that use it. Another downside I have is that it holds the smell. It's not a pleasant smell when you pull out the drawer, it's a very strong smell, we often change the filling. We also have a toss of gin which I highly recommend. It takes a little getting used to, but I have to say I like it better than the traditional trays.
