Dries out skin and hair - TERRIBLE for eczema

I decided to give this a try after trying several other soaps for my twin's eczema skin. I noticed that after the first bath with him, her once soft and shiny hair suddenly became brittle, parched and frozen. It was as if the soap had pulled their hair out completely. Then I noticed her eczema got a lot worse after a few washes. I had to use a leave-in conditioner on her hair to even comb it through, it was so dry, brittle and tangled. Then an extra lotion on the skin. The eczema flared up so badly that I took her back to the doctor - earlier he only recommended rubbing with cortisone, but this time it was so bad that he had to write out a prescription for lotion. He asked what kind of soap we use and when I told him about it he went ballistic and told us it was the worst thing for baby skin. We switched to something else and my twin's hair was instantly soft and shiny again, not frizzy and dry like Burt's. Her eczema went away immediately after we stopped using it. It dries and tears off skin and hair, it's just awful! Definitely don't give it to a child! I wouldn't use it for myself let alone my kids!
