Review on ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ Covert Hitler by Melvin Goerge

A fun party game, best with extroverts.

Very fun party game. There are basically 3 roles with different playstyles: If you are a liberal, you play a detective trying to find out who the fascists are. You look at other players' actions, probabilities and rumors and whether you think they are lying or not. If you are a fascist, work with your fellow fascists to convince everyone that you are a liberal. It's about lying, distracting and infiltrating. The lie can go several levels deeper. For example, you can vouch for another fascist and say he is a liberal. But if he gets caught, you will get caught too. You can vouch for a liberal and say they are a liberal to try and gain their trust. Maybe the liberal says you're a fascist, in which case you want to lie and say he's a real fascist trying to frame you. This is my favorite role. If you are Hitler then it is a combination of the above, you do not know who the other fascist is. You play detective but you lie about who you are. No matter what role you're assigned, it's a lot of fun. The ones where fascists and liberals walk shoulder to shoulder and everyone gets confused and blames each other are very memorable. You will inevitably make mistakes in your first game. In the second game everyone understands and plays much better. If you are an introvert this game might not be the best for you. You will only be confused by the extroverts doing the talking and fluid support before the game.
