This cage has enough space for some small birds and they can fly and jump up and down a bit. What I like the most is the slide out shelf which makes it easy to clean the cage. The assembly seemed intimidating and I have to admit that I tried to put the walls back together. After figuring this out, putting everything together was easier than I initially thought. The downsides are the perches, which sometimes tilt down when birds fly towards them (we have exotic finches and canaries). I added some wooden dowels as extra solid perches and that helped. I would like to have more feeders with water and food. Birds can be a bit territorial and fight over food from time to time. Overall I love how big it is and that I can see my beautiful birds so easily. The wire does not stand up to the competition aesthetically. This is the perfect cage and the birds and I are very happy.
