This is my first vacuum sealer and it has worked well for a number of foods: I've frozen fish, meat, sweet potatoes, cooked cabbage and everything looks good so far. However, when I tried sliced ham (wet) and sliced cheese (dry), all of the air was not removed from the bags before sealing. In addition, seals were leaking on several items. Then I got new bags. I've just tried two bags of dried apricots, one worked great, the other left some air in the bag - same type of bags, same placement, same settings and inconsistent results - same with celery. I'm coming back for another car.
