Premium Dog Food

Freeze Dried Raw Venison and Brushtail Recipes are the flavors we tried. Both are carefully made using quality ingredients, judging by the labels. (Ingredients are mostly raw wild deer meat or bushtails. I think bushtails are a species of possum considered invasive in Oceania.) My Vesti loves this food, I usually give her a handful every morning to mix with warm water. I also feed them various types of Ziwi Peak dry food which are always available throughout the day. While any of these foods would be a complete meal, I also feed raw meats, such as beef, on a daily basis. B. with bones, organic chicken drumsticks, lamb ribs, beef heart and liver. Sometimes they are fed a small amount of vegetables, fruits and fish. In season she likes to pick and eat blackberries and strawberries in the garden. Overall this is a great product and in the largest package it is more economical than other freeze dried venison products. Quality comes at a price, but I believe that a long, healthy life and lower vet bills more than offset the cost. However, at over $100 a bag, I'm glad I don't have a big dog!

Pros
  • ETHICAL & SUSTAINABLE: Made in small batches in New Zealand from free-range, grass-fed beef.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions
