Although listed with a gel pad, they are not as soft as cloth surf saddles. The shape also causes pressure points, especially on the sit bones. Additionally, the case isn't very durable, showing a mysterious cut almost immediately, even though it hasn't been subjected to rough use or abuse. However, durability has always been an issue in surfing. I buy them for comfort and this one wasn't comfortable either. So returned.
