I just wish there was a better way to fill it. There is no way to temporarily disable the spring on the fill cap, so filling this jar requires using one hand to hold the cap open. Depending on your situation, filling this jar can become a two-person job. I think the idea is that this is a security feature, but I'm not sure if this is the most secure solution. Our Justrite plastic jars allow us to temporarily disable the spring that keeps the lid closed. I'm not sure why we don't have that option with this metal can. I bought a plug to screw into the valve outlet to reduce the chance of accidental release of combustibles. The thread is ASME (1/2"-20) automotive thread, so an oil plug works well here.
