I bought this life jacket for my dog. It suits her perfectly! I measured them according to the instructions so I could figure out what to buy. This is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is about 11 pounds. The life jacket is the perfect size for her! We got into the canoe and capsized after a few hours. She swam in the water in a life jacket, but thanks to the life jacket, she floated slightly above the water. She was surprised to dive into the water but she was safe the whole time and I'm so thankful. Luckily my son held her the whole time we started tripping so she wouldn't drift down the river. It was a great adventure. Glad we all wore life jackets.
