Review on Improved Keyless2Go 4 Button L2C0007T 10335582-88 Remote Replacement for Self-Programmable Keyless Entry Car Key Fob Vehicles by Rodney Nelson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Didn't work for me, but it can't be Fob's fault.

I have an '01 Grand Prix that I bought a few years ago and the locks were worn and the key was difficult to open the driver's door. I wasn't sure if it originally came with a keyless entry system so I did a VIN search and from a detailed report it looks like this...since most of the reports weren't detailed I agreed with it. I tried the programming given on this page and it didn't work because it doesn't fit my machine. I went to their website, found the right one, but neither did he. I got 1 beep letting me know I was in a programming sequence and then about 7 beeps in a row so I have no idea what that means but no matter how many ways I tried the fob it got it never worked... maybe a key fob, maybe a car computer, maybe I don't have keyless entry. I have a button that locks/unlocks all the doors and locks everything when I get out of the car and it makes a few beeps, whatever that means it seems to have everything that would be in a keyless entry car to set this option to Factory. Furnished. For $10 it was worth a try but I still can't rule out the key fob but I won't buy another or new battery. I bought a small system to install the keyless entry option and it came with 2 fobs and also opened my trunk with a factory installed power release so this should solve the problem with less hassle than installing a new set of toggle switches and 3- x car keys to have.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Not all will fit
