Articles of daily use, useful and comfortable. Suggest adding an auto off or timer function.

I love this product, it's exactly what I need in my life and I use it almost every day. Much easier and more versatile than a regular blender. I also like that the food processor lid closes tightly so I can store leftovers in the fridge. My other blender had a hole at the top that you could drip liquids into, which I think has its perks, but not that great for storage. This hand blender is also perfect for the jars I store many of my everyday meals in, allowing me to cook, eat, and refrigerate/store food from a jar. Very convenient and fewer dishes to prepare and no need to switch from another blender. The nice thing is that I can also stick this blender directly into soups without moving it back and forth from the traditional fold. I would say the biggest downside is the instructions that limit usage to one minute, after which a 15 second rest period is required. Without a built in timer or auto shut off feature, it just takes more mental work to keep track. While it usually digs in a lot quicker than a minute, I sometimes run into some unwanted products or clumps that require extra time. It's also an extra thing to think about when someone else is helping me in the kitchen. I love this product so much that I decided to buy it for my grandparents who may need softer foods as they get older or for my brother who is having a baby soon and may want to crush baby food but doesn't have a safety shut off function makes it impossible. I think twice. Other than that, I haven't found any other hand blender with this feature, so it's probably just an industry standard. But if this feature could be added, I think it would greatly change accessibility for users.
