Review on 🔧 Danco (80004) Moen Single Replacement Handle - Metal, 1-Pack by Rud Starks

Metal construction is reliable, durable and performs great. Coincidentally I replaced the Moen 1225 cartridge at the same time and lubricated the cartridge well so the controls were silky smooth so the heavy bottom grip slowly returned to the 6 o'clock (neutral) position and rendered it useless (unless you need to hot water). I had to buy the original plastic pen. Great if you break the handles because the cartridge is old and unwieldy. Not so with a new well lubricated 1225 cartridge.
