I have 2 small dogs whose teeth I brush every other day, it started when my diabetic dog (who has now switched to non-physical) needed to brush his teeth , but could no longer do anesthesia - due to health problems. I bought MANY types of real pet toothbrushes and ALL of them had very hard bristles which both boys hurt, then I bought baby brushes and because they had plastic backs it was difficult to keep the bristles on the teeth and not chew on the plastic too let the back. So! This is the next best thing although they are EXPENSIVE in my opinion. This brand lasts a LONG time as long as I keep them VERY clean and let them dry completely (so they don't get moldy). They are soft enough not to hurt gums and strong enough to clean well. I appreciate her very much.
