I use this to hold my laptop so the screen is at a higher level so I can sit up straight and not tilt my head forward to see anything. While I usually use an external keyboard and mouse for this, I can tilt the stand (see photo) so that the built-in keyboard is at a reasonable typing angle and the screen is at eye level. The Tounee stand is so strong and durable that I have no hesitation in writing this way, while every other stand I've tried is too fragile or wobbly. I give this 5 stars for everything but "lightweight". No, that is not so. It's very strong, durable and almost too difficult to adjust position, which I think is a good thing. It won't collapse or slide off my laptop. It is very well made and comes with two extra silicone pads to stick in the right places to prevent the laptop from slipping and scratching. It also came with a spanner (wrench) but I can't figure out why. I thought I would have to loosen the hinges during adjustment but it looks like the wrench can only be used to remove the base and I'd like to know why I should do that? I am very happy with this tounee. laptop stand, and the price is very reasonable!
