Look great! on my review.
My poor dog had a few falls due to the smooth wood. I like the look of wood stairs and was worried it wouldn't look good/clean with the carpet treads. I was wrong. With the right patter/color it looks great! I did have a couple treads that didn't adhere well and loosened after a few weeks, but we just applied some store bought double-sided tape. I love the way it looks and feels and more importantly my dog confidently runs down the stairs, no falls!
