Let me start by saying I have too many backpacks. I have one for climbing, short trips, work, skiing and camera use. I was looking for a large backpack that could fit my camera and lots of ski video gear and something that could replace my carry-on on long trips. It does all of this for me and more. Here are the key things that really set this bag apart from my other packs: - Build quality: I've had Nomadic products in the past and this is where they "impressed" me. past. This is the next level. Many of the buckles and hooks are metal and the straps are soft but feel like a very good seat belt. ADJUSTMENT AND FIT: At 6'5" I'm a tall person. Most chest straps if my pack is too high on my chest at the right height I can't use them because they are too high and end up suffocating me.
