Hands are still colder than ice

So I bought a size down and I have to tell you these gloves don't keep my hands warm. I went out to clean the snow and after 5 minutes on the road I didn't feel my hands. I tried unlocking the phone with a touch finger but it didn't work. I have to point the phone a certain way for it to work. I've had them for a few weeks now, so there's no point in returning them. However, I would not recommend these
