We are in a transition period for connecting high quality displays to computers and other devices. HDMI is pushing the boundaries and there is still no reliable standard that could replace HDMI. Displayport is widely used on high-end graphics cards, but poorly supported on 4K TVs. We, the poor consumers, are forced to look for solutions to connect all of this. To be honest, this is all a bit confusing. There are many cables and connectors that claim to be 4K/60Hz compatible. Not all work. I tried several brands and had to send them back when they didn't fully support 4K/60Hz. That's why I'm so excited about this cable. Combined with an active DP/HDMI 2.0 port, it works as advertised with no fuss. I'm using it in a triple 4K monitor configuration, connecting 3 Sony 43" XBR X800D TVs to my GTX 1080ti graphics card. Due to various technical reasons (supports 18Gbps over thin wires), running cables longer is the problem than 10 feet are particularly problematic. This HDMI 2.0 15" cable works fine. The need for larger conductors makes this cable bulky and stiff, but it's a necessary requirement for a longer cable that supports 4K/60Hz. My triple 4K setup works great! This is the cable you should buy. Inexpensive, works flawlessly with my Sony GTX 1080Ti and 4K TVs and integrates perfectly with DP/HDMI 2.0 dongles. Thanks very much!
