The tape has to go through the back of the sofa. If there's only one person on the couch, you're more likely to not fix them at least every time you get up. This is the most annoying cover I've come across. This is for a leather sofa and the small "non-slip" tabs on the back do not work. I bought a real chair and it's easier to manage. The elastic on the chair goes right through the back of the chair. Like the color and the material. But it does NOT slide, ESPECIALLY WITH SKIN. I'll try another one that costs more but feels heavier. It's very easy. It doesn't look like it will last long so bring it back. If you have a fabric sofa, there is no problem. But it's on the more subtle side.
