Definitely better than the old leather tri fold wallet I used. I can fit more bills, more cards (plastic, gift, and business) and more stuff in this wallet than any other I've had. Yes, it's bigger than my old tri-fold, but it still fits in the back pocket of my jeans. The triple fold was too short in comparison which meant there was a lot of empty space in my back pocket that I couldn't use. This wallet uses that space so you can store more. And with all the compartments, it's not wider either. My old trifold puffed up like shit when there was too much in it. Also, this crap fell out because the only decent storage space in it was in the main bill compartment. Crappy little trifold card sleeves just didn't work for me. The compartments of this purse are a dream! There are so many that I can organize my cards and junk in separate sleeves instead of just sticking them all together and they are easy to access! EXCELLENT WORK MAXPEDITION!
