This is a very good quality fully automatic wireless charger with one big flaw. The clamping mechanism is electrically controlled and powered by an internal lithium-ion battery. The battery will shut down in freezing temperatures (32F - 0C). That makes the charger almost unusable in the northern states in the winter. When I first installed it, it worked great. But in the morning when I charged the phone the clamps would not close (at night the temperature was 28F). After 10 minutes of driving, the clamps worked again. To make sure it wasn't a one-time mistake, I put the charger in the freezer for 10 minutes and tested it. Of course it stopped working (clamping mechanism. Charger works at any temperature). If the clamps were powered by a car battery along with an internal battery the product would be perfect. In any case, the charging part is powered by a car battery. Why not the same for clamps? In short, if you go to a place where the temperature is always above freezing, this is the perfect product for you. I'm traveling to New Jersey. I returned mine and bought a wireless charger with mechanical clips. I am very happy with it. This section is an addition to my original review (04/20/2020): The seller contacted me several times after my first review. He/she informed me that they checked my review and solved the nutritional issue with their product. They offered to send me a new device for free and asked me to test/re-evaluate their product. Since I had already purchased a mechanical clip charger, I declined their offer. Despite the fact that I didn't test the new version of the device, I added another star to my rating due to the manufacturer's commitment to customer satisfaction.
