I just tested one using a calibrated meter as a reference. Some tweaking was needed to pull up the reading. I was able to get it accurate at low voltage, but the mid scale wasn't that tight, but I'll use a professional meter for important measurements, it'll go to my lab (it has a broken meter). The build quality is a bit shaky. I found that what I just tested had the display attached to the board unevenly. I hope others are not. I've bought red displays and they're pretty bright at 4.5V and the onboard voltage regulator keeps the brightness constant, but I recommend avoiding higher voltages to avoid killing the regulator.
