I was looking for a chair in this style in darker wood than the standard "nature" to better match my dark desk and came across this one. I was wary of the lack of reviews but they were cheaper than any others I found and with a darker stain. We only ordered two to start with and will definitely be ordering another set. The fabric is of good quality and the wood has definitely been stained. It's a little difficult to get to the ideal level, but it's not scary. In general I am very satisfied with the chairs: they look great in my dining room, they are comfortable and functional. Update: I ordered a second set and they have clearly been previously used and returned. One seat had hot glue that I had to remove very carefully (still with some wear and tear), the other had a fair amount of cat and human hair and all the hardware was in a zipper that was ripped open which meant the gear was supposed to be everywhere. Definitely need better QA.
