This one has become my new favorite tumbler. I love it because it is made of glass and glass is such a clean material. It can be sterilized in the dishwasher. It is stain and acid resistant, so I can fill it with all kind of beverages and it will not hold the flavor or any odors after cleaned. I also understand that, according to the manufacturer, this glass is lead free.The silicone lid fits very tight, no leakage at all. And between the lid and the sleeve, I find it easy to handle, non slippery. The combination of the glass and the sleeve with a purple color is very attractive.The metal straw comes with its own cleaning tool, which can also be really helpful when cleaning the two little silicone pieces. I have placed all the pieces only on the top rack of my dishwasher and everything comes out intact. But, for the sake of the durability of it, I only do it about twice a week. Most of the time I am in a hurry, so I hand wash it and get going, it is really easy. My whole hand fits in it!Of course there's always a down side to the glass: it is not shock proof. So, I am always careful with it, I don't think the silicone sleeve can provide enought protection to the glass container. Not sure if the manufacturer can upgrade the sleeve and reinforce the bottom. So, I rather don't take this tumbler when going to the gym or out hiking or biking. I use it at work, keep it in my lunch bag all the time.I love my new tumbler, I recommend it!
