I feel like I wasted a lot of money. I have bought everything from 30$ walking/running shoes to go for walks, to every brand possible and up to 100$. These are definitely the most expensive I have tried. It's hard to tell walking around the house, or even on a walk (they'll feel great), but it's after that my foot is so painful, and then I know that they are not working. I sized up half a size, WISH I HADN'T. I also wish I could get a refund, sigh, because they'll end up in the garbage bin like all my other walking shoes I try. I have also given them a good try, I've walked 20 minutes to 1.5 hours, many different times, with the same result; painful plantar fasciitis for the next night/day after. During, they feel fine, okay. Since I've "tried" them, no return is possible (sigh). The good:-I got bright pinkish/purple, very stylish.-They are cushiony, I can feel it on my heel and I can feel the bounce from the cushion-Mesh in front is stretchy and makes it feel comfortable (no toe pinching, etc.).-Good enough that it isn't "causing" plantar fasciitis in my other foot thank goodness a fear to have in both feet (and a poor shoe can do that). The bad:-Obviously cost-People on here stated to buy "a size up" or size wide, and I DISAGREE. I bought a 10.5 and I am a solid sized 10 regular width. The 10.5 feel too long for me, so I wish I hadn't listened to people on here about that, because my feet slide forward on them for being too long. Even if I walk an hour, my feet do not swell enough to justify the half size larger.-The width feels slightly small, I have regular width feet. I would have loved to try a size 10 wide width, but the regular doesn't bother me much in that aspect. I'm not spending the money (this amount) to try a wide, sorry.-For the cost, these feel like they will fall apart much sooner than my 80$ shoes I buy, other brands etc.-The arch support is not there like claimed, because if it were then it would be supporting my arches enough. It is so expensive to keep trying to find a plantar fasciitis fix in walking shoes. I'm active and it is disheartening. I should have spent the money on expensive inserts by the podiatrist. I suppose I roll my feet in and need massive arch support. These didn't fit the bill. I bought 18$ inserts from Revain, so I pulled out the inserts and am going to try higher arch ones and I will report back if it worked or if I threw the shoes out. Cost of shoes plus inserts (not a good deal). If anyone can tell me a good brand, I've tried so many that will work, please do! Never again with these expensive shoes. Danskos (which are also expensive, the professional clogs) are the ONLY shoe on the planet that will correct my plantar fasciitis and make my feet better. The problem is, I cannot go for a walk in Dansko Clogs!
