I like these shoes. I need more distance and I have problems with my left leg due to an old motorcycle injury. I have several pairs of these in black and brown. (They last about two years before I end up wearing heels because of a bumpy walk.) They're made from calfskin and are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I often go for afternoon walks when the weather is nice and they are as nice as sneakers. If they had soles and heels that could be swapped out at a shoe store, the upper would surely have lasted a decade.
