Review on Nelson-Rigg Adventure Motorcycle Tank Bag, designed for optimal fit on Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki Adventure Bikes by Kazuki Vong

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very expensive tank bag - goes well with R120GSA

This inexpensive basic tank bag goes well with my big big tank adventure. The strongly inclined bag adapts well to the shape of the tank and is attached with a four-point harness system. I have found that the four point system works better for me than relying on expensive fuel tank clamp systems. The materials are comfortable enough, good zippers and good traction. Processing quality is ok. There are no obvious flaws or missing seams. The attachment of the straps at the bottom of the bag is very strong. The design is fine. There is an expansion zipper and a crease that does not affect the use of the bag in a small configuration. The style is good with a simple black and small yellow tag, with no over-the-top branding or flashy claims that this is a utilitarian item. The vinyl card pocket is accessed from the inside of the case and has room for a phone - not very useful as most phones overheat in this area. Inside this bag is a lightweight nylon flap that separates the card slot from the rest of the bag, it's so-so. I cut out a piece of black textured ABS plastic to paste at this point to add texture and make it more finished. I purchased a 'used' item from Revain stock which was mostly in perfect condition.
