They are not waterproof.
I installed ten of these lights on my homebuilt RV last fall. After a while I noticed that some of them had moisture in the lens. So far they are still working, but it is inevitable that one day they will stop working. I also bought a couple of taillights, one of which has already stopped working. I like their looks, but they're not very well made.
