I ordered an x small and it fit me like it was made for me although my waist size is bigger than what the measurements state. I have a 26 1/2 in waist. Since I'm pretty short (5'0), I had to sow the straps on the back to make them shorter. It wasn't much. I also had to buy fashion tape and put them on the inside of the top of the stockings. They kept falling off as they are not connected to the rest of the stockings. I'm not sure how many washes this will withstand as a lot of it is made out of plastic but like I said it did the job at the Anime Matsuri.
