I was initially looking for a click carabiner but was so disappointed with the quality of the small light weight carabiners I switched mine and bought these. They don't have a "click" opening, but rather a screw cap or opening. It is much stronger than the traditional "click" style, but takes a little longer to open and close. But for that extra second, you get these incredibly light and incredibly strong clamps. I really like how feather light they are and the secure approach to locking. No problem hanging the most expensive camera or the most expensive GPS device on these clamps. and since they have to be unscrewed, they probably offer better protection against theft.
