Great for building Lego tables

These plates were perfect for converting my son's old table into a Lego game table. They are fully compatible with Lego bricks and very well made. I love that they have the ability to connect other pieces (plates, bricks, etc.) to the bottom of the plate while real Lego building plates don't. This allows kids to build large multi-story structures and the like. The keys to using these sheets to make a table are: (1) Follow the cutting instructions using a long lego as a ruler (2) Use a very sharp razor blade or point knife (3) Avoid making big, quick, deep cuts - repeatedly Cuts with light pressure saves straight lines (4) After applying the glue, glue the lego over the edge while it cures to allow the lego to stick together properly. I used liquid nails to attach the panels to the paper laminated hardwood panels - the top of the old train table. I used gorilla gel super glue for the 16x2 perimeter details. Allow everything to dry for 24 hours and it is now very strong and the panels will not lift when the attached Lego pieces are removed.
