Works great except when the magnetic end of the cable is shorted to something metallic. The keys are in your cup holder, for example. I used mine in my truck (me and an OTR trucker) and attached the end of the magazine to a screw in one of the cup holders. I smelled smoke, then I saw smoke. The end of the magnet has melted. It's not the fault of the charging cable, just be aware that it can happen, so be careful leaving it lying around when you're not actually charging anything. Other than that, this is a great product. I've messed up 2 cables so far. I would buy more
