I am very impressed with this ring. The ring is hallmarked 925. I've only had it for a few days but my skin tarnishes very easily from fake jewelry and this ring hasn't turned discolored or green on my fingers - I don't take it off to wash my hands, but I don't shower with it either . The size is as expected. The design quality is MUCH better than expected! I am shocked that the seller used such a poor quality photo. I trusted the photos from the reviews which look much better and I'm very glad I did. In the product photo, the design looks "fuzzy" and there are no clear edges, but the ring is much better than the seller's photo (as of 11/11/19). . Unlike most 1 star reviews where the ring is difficult to spin, I find it difficult to stop. I can turn it very easily. I can use the thumb of the same hand or even the sides of adjacent fingers. It makes a little noise when spinning, but if you spin slowly and with a lot of control, the noise is so quiet that I don't think it's loud enough to be noticed in a class or meeting. My biggest complaint about hyperactive rotation is how noisy the ring can be during random activities -- it makes a "rattling" sound when I'm tapping my ring finger on a flat surface, for example, or opening and closing my hand. Of course, how loud the clatter will be depends on how fast I move that finger. Even when I'm typing, I can hear the ring moving. I can live with the rattling and spinning noise, but I am concerned that it is so loose that it will fall apart, as some of the other poorly rated reviews have said. If so, I'll update my review.
