I decided to put this on the back of my daughter's door. It was easy to install. I knew I wasn't going to put anything too heavy on him. We've been using it to slip over her bathrobe for the past month. Your bathrobe is lightweight and easy to put on and take off. On the other side we placed a light jacket that weighs little. I had no problems with that. It's well secured and as long as the items aren't heavy you'll be fine. I'll be honest; The color doesn't match her room. She has a lot of black, and it seems that it blends with black, although this is not their color. I'm happy with that.
