Review on Sigma AF 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Canon EF lens, black by Gabriela Gole ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

After using the lens for two years, I feel qualified to offer my thoughts on it. My go-to FR number when taking photographs is 35. Visually, the lens is stunning, and its sharpness even at f/1.4 is a pleasant surprise. Before it, however, there were sigma lenses, which were thoroughly outclassed. I was in a state of bliss for approximately six months, but then the traditional Sigma shoals started to show up. After using it for half a year, I noticed that it loses its appearance with frequent use; this isn't a deal breaker, but it happens more quicker than with canon (by the way, I have all canon fixes including 35 1.4) He had a rough two years, and the lens shows it. I can't say that about any of my other lenses. It's fortunate that he didn't fall in his hand and get harmed when, after a year or so, he began to sway suspiciously on the corpse, even though the picture was good and I%No:%. In the servicing, the platform was bolted back into the carcass, and now it appears to be functioning normally. As I recently purchased a mark 4 and discovered that the lens is not particularly friendly with it (it strikes at close range but blatantly blurs 9 out of 10 images at medium range), I was denied service because of this. So I ended up ordering 35 from Kenon. I got a wonderful deal when I took the sigma because it was nearly twice as inexpensive as its kenenon counterpart. Still, I still rate this lens a 4 for professional use and consider it outstanding for amateur use, despite the fact that complaints have collected after 2 years. There have been no complaints about the color accuracy, bokeh, sharpness, screwing, speed, or low-light performance.

Pros
  • This lens is outstanding for sigma.
Cons
  • Cons: - Not the most dependable design - Issues with 5DM4 - Disappears in appearance over time
