Our goal was to find a simple home security system. After unpacking the package, there was no good detailed instructions. Luckily I'm tech savvy. The software was quiet and easy to set up and use. Adjusting the camera for different needs was easy in the settings. On the first day during the day, the picture was wonderful. The live broadcast was also very good. It records a maximum of 20 seconds at a time. A few days after his performance, he fell off a cliff. Video recordings were delayed between 3 and 5 seconds outside of the allowed 20 seconds. He collected moving logs from our firewood pile. The night vision was a complete joke. We even bought extra decorative lighting to see if it would help. We could not recognize one person unless they were about 5ft tall. The cameras were supposed to take several months to charge, but we had to charge for 2 weeks. We are very disappointed with the result. We wrote to bring this back and replace it with a better system, namely Lorex. Our new system caught a spider weaving in night mode. In our case, paying more for what we wanted was better than settling for cheap quality. Update 5/10/21 I have received several emails from the company asking me to complete my review with a 45% gift card from PayPal. . I had 5 letters from 10 to 45. In my opinion this is extremely unprofessional. They sent me a link to my review and a link to remove it along with the gift card offer. I have informed Amazon about this as well. Beware of humans. If you leave an honest review and they don't like it. the hum begins. Best choice of all I stand by in my rating and returning a defective product along with an afterword from customer service. Purchase at your own risk.
