Review on Riptunes Retro Bluetooth Boombox: Cassette Player, Recorder, AM/FM/SW Radio, USB, SD, Yellow by Kenny Marozas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you are 50+ then this is for you!

Ok guys, here is my review. Some people were hard on this little guy. The best quality radio alone costs at least 100.00. I know. i own them I think some reviewers don't remember or understand the technology of the 1980s. They need booming bass, etc. Important lesson: analog cassettes! This 12×5×5 boombox was popular for small spaces in the 1980s. It will fill the room. The display shows 4 watts. Haven't they read? The sound matches the price and size. It's made with quality. Not cheap! Stable, high-quality plastic. AM/FM reception is excellent. Has 2 shortwave bands. I'm not sure if there is a DSP chip. Bluetooth pairs with no problems. The tape has not been tested. You are not with me. I only use it to stream audiobooks. It offers 5 ways to listen to music. Read the description. I'm 55 years old and remember these players in most electronics stores in the early to mid 1980's. If you're my age you'll understand how it sounds! Millennials might have a problem with that. It has several features including an extra port. It's a sweet memory for someone who grew up during that time. I am giving a 5 star rating due to the accuracy of the era depicted. It's not Bose, Tivoli or Sangean. Just buy it and listen to or stream cassettes from the 80s. Excellent packaging! Nice present! Try it. You can still return it!
