So they arrived and I excitedly opened the package. I have 3 dogs, a french bulldog, an english bulldog and a small pug. All 3 breeds have broad chests, making it difficult to find shorts that fit them. Well I ordered the big one. Thought it would suit at least one of them. And considering this product has a french bulldog in it, I figured it would work for my barrel-chested boys. It can't possibly fit my English bulldog. He is tall so I think XXL would fit his chest but would be too long. Well my pug and french bulldog this large size fits both on the chest. As for the length, I have to trim it in the stomach area because they urinate on it during potty breaks. Size wise though, given their barrel shaped chest, there's no way an average size would fit them around the chest/neck. And a size increase would be roomier for the chest/neck but too long. In short, these large ones fit my Pug and Frenchie best. Almost perfect except for the length. I would recommend these if you are good at sewing so you can trim the length. But if you have non-round chested dogs I think the shirts will fit. The quality of the shirts, they seem well tailored, soft and look so charming. Washed twice and they held up great. I am planning to buy another shelf of large shirts for my pug and frenchie and just cut the length. I am discussing buying these for my english bulldog. It is short and strong with a large head. So I think he will need XXL for his bust but in length it will probably be as long as the dress he is wearing.
