I bought this scarf to wear to the gala ball. Since it's the middle of winter and I was wearing a sleeveless black dress, I wanted something that would spice up the ensemble and also keep me warm in the grand ballroom. This scarf did it! Not only did I get loads of compliments, but I accessorized the entire outfit with ruby jewelry to really make the red color stand out. It's very cosy, soft and luxurious looking and I was VERY surprised at the quality given the low price. The only downside to this scarf was that I agree with one of the previous reviews about the model wearing it in the picture. . I'm an average height woman and didn't have as many shawls in front as shown in the picture. I believe she was a size 0-2. I'm a size 10-12 and have given up on keeping the slippery version of the smaller 'knot' tied over my formal dress and wear it over my dress instead. inner hands. I didn't feel it deserved any less credit as the overall effect was still great (and very comfortable). With regular use and with "normal" clothing, it will certainly act like a normal scarf or long scarf (i.e. draped over one shoulder on one side) and will certainly keep you warm. take an international flight.
