Review on Enhanced EGR Valve by ⚙️ Standard Motor Products - Model EGV1039 by Marvin Short

I purchased this product to meet the relevant code my 2005 Ford Freestar gave. In general, the build quality turned out to be the same as the original. However, it came in a box with no packing material, so it just bounced around in the box during shipping. The plastic sleeve of the voucher was broken so I just put the original sleeve inside. Very easy to install and it cleaned up the code. However, after installation, my van would sit idle but not show any error codes. Long story short, I took it to the store where they determined the part was bad. I replaced it with a branded NAPA and it works great and no I paid what I expected to try due to a bad part. To be honest this is the second bad part I've bought here so I was very upset before I found out this one was bad too. I need to stop buying parts online!
