Very large. These earrings are very beautiful but very large. The size wouldn't be an issue if the stud wasn't in the middle of the earring. If the stud were facing towards the edge I felt it would hang more flattering without covering up some of the ear holes. Despite being quite heavy, they are comfortable and have a good grip. After a day of wearing, the ears didn't hurt from the weight that sometimes comes with other earrings. I think they would look very pretty with a simple solid color dress or shirt. They make a big statement so they go well with a simple outfit. I'm definitely a fan of theirs, but I'm having to get used to how high they sit in my ear.
