Does not fade on jewelry

I've been wearing this for 7 months. I've never had any discoloration issues. I just want the barbell ball to be unscrewable on both sides and different sizes. I found the 5mm balls too big and too heavy, if the upper one would cause me earache from time to time (I'm rather sensitive when it comes to piercings). I tried another brand but in less than a month I had not only discoloration but also dull spots on my piercing. I really like these decorations, just wish they had a few more options. I read they do custom orders so I might try that!
