We have several of these extensions and love them. We use them behind entertainment centers, in the garage, and elsewhere in the home. These things are great because they give Wall Warts (Power Bricks) enough space so you don't have to use multiple outlets for one giant Brick. All 8 sockets are available for almost everything that is connected to them. The devices can be easily mounted on the wall. I've fixed it to the wall and I can tell you that you can unplug it and the extension cord won't budge. The mounting plates work as they should and are much better than the traditional extension mount. The 15 foot cord was another selling point for me. We were able to use an extension cord much farther from the outlet. We are very happy.
